Established in 1969, The Pony Shop has been serving Evanston cyclists for more than five decades. We’re a locally owned, independent bike shop built on honest service, quality bikes, and a deep love of riding.
Owner Lou Kuhn took over the shop in 2004, carrying forward its legacy while modernizing it for today’s riders. A lifelong cyclist and hands-on mechanic, Lou leads a team that treats every bike—and every customer—with care, precision, and respect.
